I am participating in this year's Sketchbook Project.
Basically, thousands of artists from all around the world are contributing their personal sketchbooks to the project for a grand tour around the USA.
After the tour, all the sketchbooks will be in the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Art Library and available for viewing.
The deadline is approaching and I am finally having some quality time with my little sketchbook. i still am really frustrated at how transparent the pages are. my ink seeps through, but i guess it makes each page seem extra psychological and dreamy....anyway, enjoy a few sneak peeks...

Molly,
Wonderful project and your contribution will make it more wonderful.

This is really great! When it gets to Brooklyn, I know you have at least two little fans who will go crazy to see your stuff. (And of course we will too).
awww, thanks kim and paul! i'm excited to see what everyone else has come up with in their notebooks.
your sketchbook is beautiful. some of the drawings are very familiar to me. in others you have revisited planet Xerflamadorf in the galaxy of Terrafuego, one of my favorite places to visit. i hear your critique: pages are too thin. all the more precious. kids, wash your hands before you go to the library. happy face. the exclamation mark is implied here. happy new year, molly shoelace. heart.
